Yoonsu Yang is a seasoned litigator with significant experience in civil, administrative, and public law matters. He graduated from Korea University, completed the 44th Judicial Research and Training Institute, and has represented both public institutions and private entities in complex litigation and advisory work since 2015. During his tenure at the Ministry of Justice, he handled high-stakes state litigation and compensation claims, gaining a robust understanding of public liability and administrative procedures. He also served as secretary to the Compensation Review Committee and supported legislative coordination with the National Assembly. Prior to joining the Ministry, Mr. Yang worked as in-house counsel for a major media and entertainment group and advised corporations on commercial disputes and regulatory matters. He has acted for clients in construction claims, tort and contract litigation, administrative challenges, and white-collar criminal defence. He continues to advise local governments, public corporations, and a wide range of private sector clients, with a focus on delivering legally sound and commercially strategic solutions.
